5 things you should do on NCF’s new website
by NCF
Generosity involves some of life’s most meaningful decisions: What has God entrusted to me? How much can I give? What should I give? Where can it make the greatest difference? How do I involve my family? And how can I make wise decisions along the way?
We’ve spent the last year building a new ncfgiving.comopens in a new tab to help you explore questions like these. It brings together biblical wisdom, strategic and tax-efficient giving ideas, charitable solutions, research and resources, wise charitable investing, lots of stories, and a community of people who share your desire to give faithfully and steward well.
Below are a few of the things we’d like you to see first.
1. Use our new AI search
If you’re looking for something specific, finding answers just got easier. Need a form? Want details of how to give from your IRA? Or just want to understand better what a Giving Fund can do for you? Choose a topic from our list or enter your own, and AI will search our site to help you find the information you need.
2. Find out what you can give
Have you ever wished you could give more to charity, but weren’t sure how? You may be holding more opportunities for generosity than you realize. From stocks and real estate to business interests and other valuable assets, discover the many things you can give, how the process works, and how what you already own could help you give more to the causes you love.
3. Check out our new investment offerings
Thoughtful giving doesn’t always happen all at once. Your Giving Fund balance has the potential to grow while you prayerfully consider where, when, and how much to give. On this page, explore the full range of investment pools available – including our Stable Capital Pool, Fixed Income Pool, Equity Pool, and Balanced Growth Pool – and learn about the objectives and approach behind each. You’ll also find alternative investments and advisor-managed strategies, with more possibilities for putting your charitable capital to work as you plan your giving.
4. Discover endless resources
Inspiration can come from an unexpected story, a thoughtful question, a new way of approaching an old idea, or seeing what generosity has looked like in someone else’s life. Here, you can search our collections of articles, books, videos, podcasts, research, studies, and more to find something that sparks your thinking and helps you imagine what might be possible. This is where the new online version of Saturday 7 lives, too, so don’t miss this week’s edition. And if you’re not signed up for Saturday 7, join your peers who stay up to date with this email in their inbox every Saturday morning.
5. Connect with a local community of generosity
Some questions are better explored in community with others. Our local teams are hosting events, meeting with people in their communities to hear what’s on their generous hearts, connecting people to what’s happening in their communities, and helping them discover how they can give to fund generosity in the wisest ways possible. If you’d like to see what your local team is up to or get connected, this is the page for you.
